The Writing Literary Consultancy was established by its Director, Keirsten Clark, in 2002 to bridge a gap between aspiring, undiscovered authors and literary agents and publishers.
Keirsten's experiences whilst working at one of the UK's leading literary agents, Curtis Brown, made her realise that authors needed more than just a rejection slip. They needed guidance and writing advice to fine-tune their manuscript into a professional format which would encourage an agent or publisher to look beyond the first few pages.
We have worked with thousands of writers over the past 13 years, assessing manuscripts and providing invaluable feedback, copy-editing novels to ensure every sentence reads well, and proofreading manuscripts to make every word perfect.
Whether authors wish to self-publish or approach literary agents or publishers, our belief is always the same, and that is, that to really stand out in this noisy industry you need to create something outstanding and give it the best possible chance of success.
That's what we are here to help you with.
